What does my IT department need to know?

Each school district handles internet permissions differently. All of the websites accessed by students in a district have a certain classification.
For example, CaliforniaColleges.edu is typically classified as “Education/Reference.” Listing the website as a permissible classification allows users on student devices in the district access to those sites. Other districts choose to maintain lists of accepted domains on district whitelists.
